Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Rawalpindi conducts the annual and supplementary exams for the affiliated schools and colleges and private candidates of the districts of Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Attock and Chakwal. The 9th and 10th class exams under the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Rawalpindi usually held during the months of March and April while the roll number slips are issued two or three months before the start of exams. The roll number slips of the regular candidates are sent to the affiliate public and private schools while the roll number slips of private candidates are sent to their mentioned addresses.
